Things We Should Say More Often

Yesterday was a long day. I drove my kids from my folks' house in NY all the way to our new house in NC! This made for a 12 hours in a car with children that refused to synchronize their potty breaks. Luckily their moods were reasonable, they just made me stop a lot. At the end of the trip I was having a hard time being grateful for the things that I have. Grateful for the trip that I took . I was TIRED. I mean straight up exhausted and we didn't have enough groceries in the house to make the kids dinner.  I was cranky, turning to angry mom, and not choosing words, or tone of voice wisely.

After dunking the kids in the bath quickly, and throwing on pajamas, I took a second to check my email and this is what I found...

A little kick in the pants for my parenting and  a gentle reminder to just choose my words with kindness...

Take a look. It will make you smile.... and want a corndog

Until Next Time,
