Giant Tic Tac Toe!

Need a fun game to play with your kids? Don't want to break out the traditional board games?  Sick of playing 300 versions on memory?  Try some Tic Tac Toe!  Sounds too simple? Well, why not make it GIANT Tic Tac Toe!?

Why play on a simple sheet of paper when you can get active and play on the floor?!  Simply create some X's and O's out of paper and use painter's tape to create the playing space on the floor.  I have found that painter's tape is the easiest to remove once the game in done!

Here is our kid friendly way to make our x's and o's~
1. Have the kids draw two ovals on a paper,  one inside the other.  Then, depending on age and ability, cut the circles out.
2. For the X, take two strips of paper and have the kids tape them in the shape of an X.

Simple steps, but both still work on fine motor control!

Once you have your game board and letters created go ahead and play! It takes about 10 minutes to set it up and my kids played for a LOOOOOONG time! What an easy, creative way to work on concentration and pattern making. Not to mention.... it is just fun!

Until next time,
